AKRSP(I) has promoted over 40 Farmer Producers Companies having over 40000 smallholders as the shareholders. FPOs are in four states Gujarat, MP, Bihar and Maharashtra. These FPOs are working on linking smallholder farmers with remunerative markets. FPOs are trying to develop value chains around various agriculture commodities such as cotton, groundnut, pulses, millets, vegetables, cereals and livestock. In the long term all the FPOs are expected to develop the value chain of produce coming from the smallholders through regenerative agriculture practices. This position will require to lead the FPO program of the organization and provide strategic guidance to make FPOs economically vibrant institutions for the benefit of smallholder farmers particularly women farmers.

Marketing linkages particularly for commodity marketing for commodities such as cotton, groundnut, pulses, millets etc.

Job Profile
Providing overall leadership to the FPO program of the organization.
Strategy building and guiding implementation of the strategy.
Capacity building of field teams so that FPOs can be made vibrant institutions owned by farmers.
Leading the market linkages of the major commodities available with the FPOs. The focus will be on bulk marketing of the available commodities at large volume.
Leading the financial linkages of the FPOs.
Project management including liaison with donors funding the FPO programs.
Resources mobilization for the FPO program.
Team management.
Leading the digitization of FPO operations.
Developing MIS systems for monitoring daily progress of the FPO businesses.
Leading the relationship building with relevant government departments, think tanks, donors and market players
