Started in 2002, Vadvai has emerged as a well-known value-driven and knowledge based unit under the able guidance of its parent organization AKRSP(I). We are committed to provide quality services to our collaborating partners in the areas of capacity building, research and direct field support. Our clients are government agencies, donor agencies, non-governmental organizations, corporates and CBOs.

Situated in Saurashtra region of Gujarat State, the Centre has a two way learning process: i.e. where local and traditional wisdom gets articulated with outside world and where outside knowledge is applied to solve the complex problems of the drought prone region.
The ""Water centre" at the Sayla Training centre is developed in collaboration with the "Center for Science and Education" (CSE), New Delhi, and possesses a national perspective on water scenario.
The resource center also has panels and video films narrating story of various villages which have improved their lives through water conservation and water management harvesting, proper water distribution etc. This ensures that outsiders and other villagers realize that they can solve their own problems.
The training center itself has a live demonstration of Rain Roof Water harvesting, with an underground tank of about 1,00,000 liters capacity filled by roof water collection. The campus also has a demonstration of all available water management technologies of drip and sprinkler irrigation systems.
The Water Resource center in Sayla acts as a knowledge resource centre on water issues in semiarid areas, for creating awareness on rural water issues to wider audience and collecting and sharing of local knowledge and experiences at National level.The Water Resource centre extends its services to different cliental groups.
